IBEX – International Biotechnology Experts (“IBEX”)
is composed of the Israeli and Dutch sister companies IBEXPERTS Ltd. and IBEXPERTS BV, respectively.
IBEX specializes in the
initiation and management of international biotechnology projects in the fields of health,
agriculture and environment.
Company history
IBEXPERTS Ltd. and IBEXPERTS BV were founded in 2004 and in 2007, respectively, by
Dr. Rachel Kreisberg-Zakarin.
In 2007 IBEX initiated and led the successful submission of FP7 research proposals.
In January 2007 IBEX started managing the Avian Influenza FP6
"Euroflu" research project
November 2006 - June 2007 - IBEX managed the "ABC Consortium" a joint R&D venture of
international vegetable seed companies that were searching for innovative technologies at R&D institutions.
In 2005-2006 IBEX initiated and led the successful submission of FP6 research proposals.
In 2004-2005 IBEX led an intiative for the establishment of bioinformatics centers in Greece and in the
Palestinian Authority, the latter being part of an initiative of Israeli and Palestinian
businessmen under the auspice of the World Bank, to promote peace through joint ventures.
Our Market
IBEX operates in Europe, in the Middle East and in Russia.
Its principal customer base includes private companies (SMEs), universities, research
institutions and hospitals.
